Dynamics of Quantum Systems and Nonlinear Waves
15-19 June 2026

The rapid progress in the study of the time evolution of complex physical systems requires a new exchange of knowledge, dialog, and innovative ideas. The proposed school aims to bring together experts from two fields that have been particularly active in the recent years:

Field (I): Dynamics and effective evolution equations of many-body quantum systems

Field (II): Nonlinear waves in fluid mechanics and dispersive PDEs

Both fields are at the forefront of mathematical physics, addressing distinct but related questions about physical systems. Although pursued by somewhat different research communities, they share a fundamental commitment to rigorous mathematical proofs and rely on techniques from functional analysis, partial differential equations (PDEs), spectral theory and perturbation theory.

The school seeks to attract distinguished experts for focused discussions, talks and lectures, fostering a deeper understanding among participants and exploring the rich connections between these fields.
